About Us

History and Mission of the Tallahassee Seminole Club

The Tallahassee Seminole Club (TSC) was originally formed in 1998 under the name College Avenue Seminoles by a group of young FSU Alumni. TSC's mission is to unite Seminoles from the Leon County area in support of our university, The Florida State University. TSC is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization for fans, alumni and friends of FSU in the Leon County area of Florida.

TSC makes it possible to bring FSU fans and Alumni in direct contact with many outstanding speakers including Coaches, Administrators, Student-Athletes, and other FSU celebrities at our monthly meetings, Social Events and our annual Golf Tournament. We also actively support the recruitment of merit scholars, academic and athletic scholarship funding and endowment, annual booster fundraising drives as well as many other worthy University causes. Additionally, we provide local organization and infrastructure for a variety of social and fundraising events held throughout the year.

Whether it's for socializing with fellow Seminoles, enjoying programs about FSU, or helping with the work of this club, the Tallahassee Seminole Club appreciates your support and participation.

TSC Gives Back to FSU

The Tallahassee Seminole Club has done many great things to support Florida State University over the years. Nothing has been more important than giving back through fund raising. We all love FSU and want it to be the best in Academics and Athletics. As you know state budgets for our Universities are tight. Our athletic programs receive no state funding so they depend on the donations of Seminole Clubs and individual Seminole Boosters. We invite you to help us continue to make contributions to the success of our University and our Athletic programs. With your continued support, we can fulfill our commitments and take on more. We count on you, because Florida state counts on us. Below is a list of contributions TSC has made and will make to FSU.
  • FSU Indoor Practice Facility
  • TSC Scholarship Fund- 2 to 4 $500 scholarships given each year to High School Seniors from Leon County.
  • Seminole Boosters- Golden Chief level
  • FSU Foundation Scholarship Endowment
  • All 10 Coaches Clubs
  • Florida State Alumni Association Life Member
